“I’ve had a newfound love for cooking in the last year. 2 years ago, eating healthy for me was going to Panera over McDonald’s. It wasn’t really eating healthy. When I lived in Kansas City, my apartment was right by a market with great fresh produce, so it was really easy to go home and cook something healthy. I’m really working on keeping that going. I love the idea of buying fresh, healthy food everyday. It’s a nicer feeling for me than going and getting 35 grocery bags and spending a ton of money and then inevitably having your plans change and half of your stuff goes bad and you have to throw it away. My goal in life is to get groceries every single day. Get what I need, cook it right away, and start fresh the next day. I’m totally fine if I have zero items in my fridge.”
